Delivery boys (Poem)

They race against the wind, against the traffic

Dressed in yellow, red, orange & purple

Not a worry in the world about the rules they break

Yet if you look inside, their hearts are filled

with more worry than a being can take

They work for whom they are mere numbers on a page,

Who only worry if the numbers change.

Yet if you look inside, their hearts are no different

I open the door, I receive the bag

I occasionally thank but never tip

I care enough to write but not act,

I am a hypocrite, yet if you look inside

my heart is no different.
